Welcome to
SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA ROLLER DERBY
WELCOME
Southern Oklahoma Roller Derby is a flat-track roller derby league based in Ada, Oklahoma. SORD was founded in May 2010 under the name Arbuckle Derby Darlings in Ardmore, OK. The league name was changed to South Central Roller Girls on Jan. 8, 2012 and moved to the Ada area. May 19, 2026, we announced the change of our league name to Southern Oklahoma Roller Derby as a way to create a gender-inclusive space that better reflects and welcomes everyone who is part of our community. This change supports our commitment to respect, inclusivity, and making every athlete and fan feel represented. Our logo features our state bird, the scissor-tailed flycatcher.
Southern Oklahoma Roller Derby is a non-profit organization that represents community spirit. We offer good-natured family-friendly entertainment and we are committed to being positive role models in our community through displays of athleticism, good sportsmanship, and volunteerism. We strive to spread awareness of roller derby as a sport, provide fun and entertainment, and connect with our community.
